LOOKING FOR OTHER WAYS TO HELP?
Many organizations and individuals give countless hours organizing food drives, fund-raising events, bake sales or decorating our lunch bags. They provide vegetables, sponsor holiday meals, even clean our aprons and sharpen our knives. Fill out the form above and let us know how your organization might partner with us.
We hope you’ll join us. Our volunteers know that by helping to nourish those who are homebound or infirm, they are making a real difference for people in need.
Happy Volunteers
“I CAN’T THINK OF A BETTER GROUP OF PEOPLE AND ENVIRONMENT TO SPEND A FEW HOURS WITH – I AM ASSURED OF CARE, LAUGHTER, SYMPATHY, AND GREAT STORIES – WHO WOULDN’T GET UP EARLY FOR THAT? VOLUNTEERING EVERY WEDNESDAY BRINGS ME AS MUCH JOY AS CLIENTS MUST FEEL WHEN THEIR MEALS ARE DELIVERED.” - Valerie G.
“I’VE BEEN DELIVERING FOR ABOUT 15 YEARS. I ENJOY MEETING AND INTERACTING WITH THE CLIENTS. SOMETIMES I AM THE ONLY PERSONAL INTERACTION THEY HAVE ALL DAY, SO IF THEY WANT TO CHAT, I’M HAPPY TO DO SO. SOME OF THE CLIENTS ARE SO DARN CUTE, I CAN’T STAND IT!” - Vicki B.
“I HAVE VOLUNTEERED FOR ABOUT 8 YEARS. IT IS THE BEST PART OF MY WEEK. THE THOUGHTFUL AND KIND PEOPLE I WORK WITH ARE THE REAL JOY. IT’S SERVING OTHERS TOGETHER, LIKE A COMMUNITY.
IT IS A GIFT TO ME.” - Donna D.
