Meals on Wheels has been providing nourishment to any Ridgefield resident who cannot prepare their own meals due to age, disability, or illness. Meals can be setup long-term or for short-term needs. We have no age or income restrictions. All meals are free of charge.

Fresh from the garden. 💚💛 A beautiful delivery arrived at our kitchen this week: freshly picked green and yellow beans, grown and delivered by the garden crew at St. Stephen’s. We’re so grateful for neighbors who think of Meals on Wheels and find such wonderful ways to share what they grow, make and give. Sometimes a little extra love comes right back to you. ❤️ These wonderfully colorful decorated bags arrived in our kitchen on the very same day as this handwritten note from one of our meal recipients, thanking Meals on Wheels for the kindness and thoughtfulness of a birthday gift bag. We usually use this space to share some of the love our community sends out into the world. This week, we wanted to share a little of the love that came back. To everyone who decorates a bag, volunteers their time, prepares a meal, makes a delivery, or finds another way to show someone they’re being thought of: it matters. Because every meal deserves a little extra love. ❤️
