DONATE

One thing we can all agree on is that Ridgefield is a beautiful and thriving community. It’s hard to imagine that there’s anyone in need in Ridgefield. However, there is a “hidden” community of residents who are homebound, unable to drive, alone and sometimes ill or disabled. That’s where Meals on Wheels of Ridgefield plays a crucial part in our community.

IT COSTS $15/DAY TO FEED A CLIENT

ALL MEALS ARE PREPARED USING FRESH INGREDIENTS IN OUR COMMERCIAL KITCHEN IN BALLARD GREEN.

WE RECEIVE NO FEDERAL/STATE AID

SO WE ARE ABLE TO SERVE ANY RESIDENT IN NEED—THERE ARE NO AGE OR INCOME RESTRICTIONS OR QUOTAS.

THAT MEANS WE NEED TO RAISE  NEARLY $400,000 EACH YEAR

WE ARE FUNDED ENTIRELY THROUGH DONATIONS FROM INDIVIDUALS, BUSINESSES, CIVIC ORGANIZATIONS AND FOUNDATIONS.

Honor a Loved One

Looking to make a donation in memory or in honor of a loved one? Please include in the "notes" field the name of your loved one along with the name and address of anyone you would like to be notified of your donation. We'll send both you and the family an acknowledgement letter.

Sponsor a Meal

Sponsoring a meal is a very meaningful way to celebrate a family member, friend, organization, local business, or even one of our volunteers.  The opportunity to sponsor a meal for all of our clients is available for any donation of $1,000 or more.  A note will be sent out with the meals noting that it was sponsored by your generous donation, and we will post a note of appreciation on our social media to thank you and acknowledge your loved one or organization.
